Midmark Workstations Explained: How to Pick the Right One of 13
Midmark sells workstations under 13 different catalog numbers. Here are the three questions that actually separate them.

Look at a Midmark price sheet and you'll find workstations listed under 13 different catalog numbers — 6211, 6212, 6213, 6214, 6215-001, 6215-002, 6215-003, 6217, 6218, 6219, 6281, 6282, and 6283. Nothing about that list tells you which one fits your exam room. Reading the individual spec sheets doesn't help much either, because the differences aren't "better or worse" — they're different answers to different questions.
There are really only two questions that matter. Answer them, and the right model number falls out on its own.
The two questions that decide it
This covers 6 of the 13 catalog numbers directly. The rest — the compact 6214/6215 models and the 6217/6218/6219 mouse-tray variants — are explained below.
The mobile cart family, in full
All seven mobile models share the same 26" range of height adjustment (23" to 49") and roll on locking casters. Three of them — 6211, 6212, and 6213 — are about what you're securing. The other four — 6214 and the 6215 series — are about how much floor space you have. Worth knowing before you scan the table: 6214 and 6215-001 share nearly identical dimensions, so for most rooms they're interchangeable — the real size decision is whether you need the smaller 6215-002 or the clinician-facing curve of the 6215-003.

The wall-mounted family, in full
All three fold flat against the wall with toolless height adjustment when not in use. The difference between them is almost entirely what you're hanging on the mount.

What about 6217, 6218, and 6219?
These three aren't separate designs — they're the exact same workstations as 6211, 6212, and 6213, with a mouse tray attached at the factory. 6217 is "6211 plus a mouse tray." 6218 is "6212 plus a mouse tray." 6219 is "6213 plus a mouse tray." If you want the tray, order the 621[7/8/9] number for whichever base model fits your answer above. If you don't, order the base 621[1/2/3] number directly — the tray can always be added later as an accessory.
